About
Niquette Hunt
I’m an operator.
Across biotech and medtech, I built a company from concept to FDA clearance and launch, helped take another public, and governed a third through its sale. What connects them is the decision layer: the clinical, regulatory, and commercial calls that determine whether a technology becomes a business.
As founder and CEO of Candesant Biomedical, I created Brella, the first product in its category to earn FDA De Novo clearance, and brought the company to filing with under $11 million invested. As SVP of Commercial Development at Revance, I helped take the company public in a tenfold-oversubscribed IPO. From the Soliton board, I helped guide its acquisition by Allergan Aesthetics. Across my career, I’ve raised more than $300 million in private and public capital.
I’ve made these decisions across both drug and device. I bring that judgment to investors and the companies they back, early, when the technology has demonstrated its promise and there is still room to shape the business.

Who I work with.
Investors and the founders and leadership teams they back, from technical proof-of-concept through the decisions that define the company.
I work across drug and device, bringing a commercial perspective to early choices about applications, evidence, development, and capital.
Engagements range from focused strategic advice to fractional CEO leadership, depending on what the company needs. I work directly with the technical team, connecting the science to the choices required to build the business.
